How to use Minu ESTER
- Loans history. In Minu ESTER you can view your borrowing history – a list of returned and borrowed books. If you want to save the history click the „Start saving the borrowing history“ link. If you don’t need the history of your loans, delete all the items from the list and then click „Stop saving the borrowing history“. To enable the loan history again click „Start saving the borrowing history“ link.
- My folders. Logging into Minu ESTER enables you to save the selected records into different thematic folders. To create a folder you have to choose the record you want to save. Every folder must have a name (e.g. Poetry of Iceland). It is also possible to add a description to a folder (e.g. The books recommended by Prof. Kivi)
- My ratings, My comments. Logging into Minu ESTER enables you to add ratings and comments to all the items in the e-Catalog ESTER.
- Unpaid fines and charges. Under unpaid fines and charges you can check for which overdue items you have unpaid fines and library charges (e.g. telephone messages). The current fine for an overdue item is not showing on your account. You can see it in your borrowing record.
- Keep your contact information up to date! Keep your contact information up to date to ensure you receive library notices. In case you have several phone numbers or e-mail addresses, use the main one. Go to the library if you need to update the rest of your contact information (e.g. your address).
