Reading in the Library

There are either reading rooms or special places for reading in all the departments and the branch libraries. In that way all the materials in the libraries collections are made available to the public. Certain items are not for home lending.

The Reading Room of the Department of Estonian Literature is located on the second floor of the main building (Estonia ave 8). The Periodical Room is located on the ground floor of the main building (separate entrance). Newspapers and other materials in foreign languages are located on the Reading Room of the Department of Literature in Foreign Languages (Liivalaia 40).
